A Note Before We Begin

We have written these terms in plain language because we believe you should actually be able to read and understand what you are agreeing to. If something is unclear, please contact us at admin@elfinadventures.com before subscribing.

By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.

Elfin Adventures is a children’s subscription service operated as a sole proprietorship under the name Elfin Adventures™. We deliver monthly story letters and activity content from Elf Academy.

Elfin Adventures offers monthly subscription plans that deliver story letters, activity pages, and related content featuring the elves of Elf Academy. Content is delivered digitally through our members-only website, and in some plans, physically by mail.

Current subscription tiers and their inclusions are described on our subscription page. We reserve the right to update tier contents with reasonable notice to subscribers.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Your subscription begins on the date of your purchase. You will be billed immediately for your first period (monthly or annual), and automatically on the same date each subsequent period.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You will receive a reminder email before your annual subscription renews. Monthly subscriptions renew without a separate reminder — it is your responsibility to cancel before the next billing date if you do not wish to continue.

Changing Your Plan

You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time through your account dashboard. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Payment

We accept major credit and debit cards through WooPayments. Your payment information is processed securely and is not stored on our servers. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is current and accurate.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, your subscription and membership access will be suspended until payment is resolved.

You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time through your account dashboard under My Account → Subscriptions → Cancel. Cancelling stops future charges — it does not end your current subscription period early.

• Monthly subscriptions: Cancelling your renewal takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until that date.
• Annual subscriptions: Cancelling your renewal means you will not be charged for the following year. You retain access through the end of your current paid annual period. Annual subscriptions cannot be cancelled mid-term for a refund except as described in the Refunds section above.

We do not cancel subscriptions by email request. All cancellations must be completed through your account dashboard. If you have difficulty cancelling, contact us at admin@elfinadventures.com and we will assist you.

5. Refunds

Monthly subscriptions do not offer refunds. You may cancel your renewal at any time through your account dashboard, and your access will continue until the end of your current paid period.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are a full-year commitment. You may cancel your renewal at any time — meaning you will not be charged for the following year — but your current year’s subscription is non-refundable except as described below.

Within 48 hours of purchase: If you contact us within 48 hours of purchase and your welcome package has not yet shipped, we will issue a full refund. Contact us at admin@elfinadventures.com.

After 48 hours or after the welcome package ships: No refund is available. Your access continues through the end of your annual period. This is the annual commitment.

The only exception is if your welcome package has shipped but you request a refund within 48 hours of purchase. In that case, we will issue a refund minus $50.00 — the retail value of the welcome package including shipping — which we are unable to recover once sent.

Welcome Package Loss or Damage

If your welcome package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at admin@elfinadventures.com and we will work with you to find a solution.

Exceptions

We handle genuine extraordinary circumstances — serious illness, bereavement, and similar situations — on a case-by-case basis with compassion. Please contact us at admin@elfinadventures.com.

6. Gift Subscriptions

When purchasing a gift subscription, you will provide the recipient’s email address at checkout. The recipient will receive an email inviting them to create their account and access their membership.

Billing Responsibility

As the gift purchaser, you are responsible for the ongoing subscription billing unless you cancel. If you purchase a recurring gift subscription, it will renew automatically until cancelled. We will send you a renewal reminder before your annual gift subscription renews.

Recipient Accounts

The gift recipient’s account is separate from yours. They manage their content access; you manage the billing. Either party may contact us if there are questions about a gift subscription.

7. Member Accounts

To keep your account secure, we recommend using a strong password that you don’t use on other websites, and enabling two-factor authentication if available. Do not share your password with others or reuse passwords across multiple sites. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Elfin Adventures is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from shared, reused, or compromised credentials.

One Account Per Subscription

Each subscription is associated with one member account. Account sharing with individuals outside your household is not permitted.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or attempt to misuse our service.

8. Content Access

Active subscribers have access to member-only content as described in their subscription tier. This access is personal and non-transferable.

Content Archive

Access to past story letters is provided on a rolling basis as described in our content policy. We reserve the right to adjust archive availability with reasonable notice.

Content Availability

While we make every effort to deliver content on schedule, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to technical issues, maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate any significant delays promptly.

Content Changes

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace content at any time. The characters, stories, and world of Elfin Adventures may evolve over time.

For physical subscribers: Content delivered by mail is yours to keep permanently, regardless of your subscription status.

For digital subscribers: Content is accessible through our members-only website while your subscription is active. Access to digital content ends when your subscription expires or is cancelled. We will never delete or alter story content that is currently within your active access window.

All content produced by Elfin Adventures — including but not limited to story letters, character artwork, trading cards, activity pages, the Elfin Adventures name and logo, and the characters of Elf Academy’s Aurora Class — is the intellectual property of Elfin Adventures™.

You may:

• Download and print content for personal, non-commercial use within your household
• Share physical content (such as printed letters or trading cards) within your family

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or sell any Elfin Adventures content
• Use our characters, artwork, or story content for commercial purposes
• Share digital content files (PDFs, downloads) with non-subscribers

10. User-Submitted Content

Subscribers may optionally submit photographs of their child’s completed artwork (coloring pages, crafts, etc.) to our community gallery. By submitting content, you confirm that:

• You are the parent or guardian of the child whose artwork is shown
• The submission contains no identifiable images of children
• You grant Elfin Adventures a non-exclusive license to display the submission in our members-only gallery

We reserve the right to remove any submission at our discretion.

No Images of Children

For the safety of all families in our community, we do not accept submissions that include photographs or identifiable images of children. Artwork only, please.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access other members’ accounts or content
• Use our service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate our content, characters, or service
• Circumvent any access controls or membership restrictions
• Submit false information, including false child data, to manipulate personalization features

Elfin Adventures provides its service in good faith and with genuine care for the families we serve. However:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service
• Our total liability for any claim arising from your subscription shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for third-party services (payment processors, email platforms, web hosting) that experience outages or issues beyond our control

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service shall be resolved in the courts of California.

We will notify active subscribers by email of any significant changes to these terms at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
