Elfin Adventures is a monthly subscription that follows a brand new Elf Academy — twenty young elves come from all around the world — through their first year at Elf Academy at the North Pole. Each month, your family receives a story letter narrating the class’s latest adventure, written by their instructor, Miss A. Inkwell. Depending on your plan, you’ll also receive postcards, kindness calendars, and small adventure artifacts.

The stories are written for kids roughly ages 5–12, with a sweet spot around 6–10. Younger kids will love having it read to them. Older kids in the 8–12 range who like stories and getting real mail tend to be the most enthusiastic subscribers.

Not at all — and that’s kind of the whole point. The adventures happen year-round. The Aurora Class might be learning to cook in a Moroccan kitchen in February, navigating a rainforest in May, or solving a mystery in Scotland in August. Christmas and the North Pole are part of the world, but the stories are about adventure, friendship, and discovery all twelve months of the year.

Letters ship in the first week of each month. Digital letters for Elfin Insider subscribers are delivered on the same day.

Every new yearly subscriber receives a Welcome Package with their first order — a letter from Miss Inkwell addressed to your child, the Aurora Class full class photo, a complete character sticker sheet, and the first monthly story letter. It’s the official beginning of your child’s journey with Elf Academy.

Absolutely. At checkout, you can enter a different shipping address. We’d also suggest adding a note in the order comments with the child’s name so Miss Inkwell can address the Welcome Letter personally.

One subscription covers one household — the letters and adventures are written for the family, and the kindness calendar works great with one sticker color per child. If you have multiple children who each want their own personalized experience, you’re welcome to add a second subscription at a discount.

Yes. There are no long-term commitments. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page, and you won’t be charged for the following month. We’d love to know why you’re leaving so we can keep making it better, but we’ll never make canceling difficult.

Currently we ship within the United States. International shipping is something we’re working toward — in the meantime, the Elfin Insider digital plan is available everywhere in the world.

Each month’s artifact is a small physical object connected to that month’s story — something the characters encountered or used in their adventure. Artifacts might include things like a tiny message in a bottle, a hand-drawn map, a pressed flower from an imaginary meadow. They’re small enough to fit in an envelope and special enough to keep.

December is actually one of the most exciting months of the year for the Academy — it’s when everything they’ve been learning at Elf Academy comes together for their first real assignment. We won’t spoil it. Subscribe and find out.
